The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are busy with the NFL draft today, but Tampa’s mayor Jane Castor found some time to pen a welcome letter to new Bucs players Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
Take a look.
Happy to welcome @TomBrady & @RobGronkowski to the greatest city in the world, the @CityofTampa! 😊 pic.twitter.com/K89dj5vc50

As Castor points out in her letter, she wants the Bucs to become the first team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium, as Super Bowl LV is set to be in Tampa next year.
Brady and Gronk certainly have championship experience, having played together in five Super Bowls, winning three. The Bucs, meanwhile, haven’t been to the postseason since 2007, and haven’t won a playoff game since their victory in Super Bowl XXXVII following the 2002 season.
Don’t disappoint the mayor, fellas.
