Without a fourth-round pick, the Bucs knew that if they wanted to get good value at the running back position, round three was the place to look.
The Bucs used their third-round pick, No. 76 overall, on Vanderbilt running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn, who once rushed for 2,646 yards and 45 touchdowns as a senior in high school. He’ll be joining a Bucs team that ranked 24th last year in rushing, averaging just 95.1 yards per game on the ground.

Vaughn, the sociology major, has also already chosen his number with the Buccaneers.
