Miami Dolphins draft Robert Hunt with 39th pick of 2020 NFL Draft

Hunt, along with Ereck Flowers, Jesse Davis, Austin Jackson and Ted Karras, will bring some serious beef in the run game.

A busy night for the Miami Dolphins yesterday in Round 1 of the NFL Draft provided plenty of drama. Miami stood firm on their first two selections, drafting QB Tua Tagovailoa and OT Austin Jackson with their early selections before a trade back from 26 to 30 allowed Miami to pick up an additional Day 3 selection in this year’s NFL Draft as well.

Day 2 figures to provide plenty of fireworks as well — and we’re officially off and running.

With the 39th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins have selected Louisiana offensive lineman Robert Hunt. Hunt is the latest addition to Miami’s offensive line overhaul and will provide Miami with yet another power presence and bully at the point of attack. Hunt, who played right tackle at Louisiana, will likely face a transition inside to guard at the pro level.

Hunt, along with Ereck Flowers, Jesse Davis, Austin Jackson, and Ted Karras, will bring some serious beef in the run game. These Dolphins are not messing around — they are fully committed to turning this offensive line from a weakness into not just a strength but rather an identity for this football team.
