Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah is now ready to tackle his dream of becoming an NFL superstar. After a stellar career in Columbus, he was selected as the No. 3 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
The congratulatory remarks were far and wide, but there was one in particular that was not only surprising but probably meant more than most to the kid out of Grand Prairie, TX. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and watch.
Okudah was surprised by the NFL Network after he was selected. His former coach Urban Meyer and wife Shelley jumped on to virtually to offer congratulations. I know there’s likely much more that these two wanted to say to each other, but it’s always cool to get a peek behind some of these discussions. Jeff Okudah is going to ball-out at the next level y’all.
