Report: Colts in trade talks for No. 34 pick

Will the Colts move from 34?

Not surprisingly, the Indianapolis Colts are already in trade talks for the No. 34 overall pick in Round 2 of the 2020 NFL draft, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

General manager Chris Ballard made it clear that he wants to add more picks to their current slate of draft selections, and the second round is the perfect time to do so. While they also have the No. 44 overall pick, the Colts are actively looking to move down from their first pick of the day.

With seven picks upcoming for the Colts and Ballard wanting to move back, the No. 34 overall pick is a prime spot for Indy to move back. They should get a nice haul for what is a valuable spot in the draft, especially after how the first night unfolded.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Colts get a third-round pick and possibly a sixth or seventh-round pick depending on how far they move back from No. 34—if a trade happens.

The Colts should be expected to move back at some point on Friday, and it seems the No. 34 pick is heating up in trade talks.
