Players on the Kansas City Chiefs have a new teammate and his name is Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The running back out of Louisiana State was one of the premier running backs in the country in 2019, helping his team to a win in the national championship game.

Edwards-Helaire is shift, tough as nails and can defeat any type of coverage in the passing game. He’s another weapon in the already powerful Chiefs offense and that prospect has some of his new teammates very excited.

Patrick Mahomes posted the ever-famous, Shaquille O’Neal wiggle GIF and some grinning emoji faces. Adding a player that is coming off of a 17-score season means that the offense is getting all the more difficult to defend. Mahomes knows just how exciting this player will be in his offense.

Tyrann Mathieu, a former LSU Tiger himself, is excited for another alumnus to join the team. Edwards-Helaire will also join a familiar face in Darrel Williams in the Kansas City running back room.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman wasn’t too quick to congratulate his new teammate and instead was confused about why one of his old ones wasn’t selected in the first round of the draft. He later clarified that he has no problems with the Chiefs’ pick.
