What message is LeBron James sending through Kendrick Perkins?

Kendrick Perkins seems to believe that LeBron James is not happy with how he is being talked about over the last few days.

Other than a short mention on his Instagram story, everyone has been waiting for LeBron James to talk more about the recent Michael Jordan documentary that everyone is watching, entitled “The Last Dance.” The 10-part docuseries debuted on Sunday and talk about it has dominated the airways in a time with very little going on in the world of sports. But LeBron seemed to be animated earlier on Thursday, a night when two Klutch Sports players are expected to go high in the NFL Draft, which got one of his closest friends in the basketball media talking about it.

Perkins at first believed that LeBron’s rapping along in the gym was related to perceived slights about him in light of the Jordan documentary.

After Perkins took to the bird to echo what LeBron said, LeBron tried to deflect before saying “what’s understood don’t even need to be said.” Basically telling Perk to “say less,” as it were.

So, is LeBron a little upset that people are talking about him more in the context of being one of the best players of All-Time rather than the clear-cut best ever. And with little in the way of actual sporting events, the debates, and the posturing from all sides of it, will be at an All-Time high.
