According to a report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Tennessee Titans are actively trying to trade their No. 29 overall pick in order to acquire more selections in the 2020 NFL Draft.
I’m told the Tennessee Titans have made calls to trade out of the 29th pick. Teams they’ve called mentioned what we know, the Titans are looking to collect more picks in the next rounds.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as general manager Jon Robinson has made it clear the team is open to trading down. It looks like the Titans will be quite active in trying to do that on Day 1.
The Titans currently don’t have any picks in the fourth or sixth round thanks to the trades for Ryan Tannehill and Reggie Gilbert, so ideally Tennessee would like to add picks in either or both of those rounds. Obviously, the earlier the picks they acquire, the better.
In all, the Titans have seven selections in this year’s draft, with one in each of the first three rounds, one in the fifth, and three in the seventh.
Tennessee acquired two of those seventh-round picks in the trade that sent Taywan Taylor to the Cleveland Browns in 2019 and the deal that sent Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos in 2020.
