After several weeks of being mentioned with every wide receiver in the NFL draft process, the Eagles are now being mentioned as a landing spot for an All-American linebacker.
On Wednesday night, NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah had the Eagles selecting Oklahoma all-world linebacker Kenneth Murray at No. 21.
A Dynamic playmaker, Murray would give the Eagles a stout presence in the middle and a guy capable of turning into Philadelphia Luke Kuechly.
On Thursday, just hours before the draft, ESPN’s Mel Kiper did an about-face, linking the Eagles to Murray as well after previously predicting a wideout.
21. Philadelphia Eagles
Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma | HighlightsPhiladelphia has a major need at wide receiver, but it could address the position in the second round. Murray is a tackling machine and leader in the locker room.
