Eagles land LB Kenneth Murray in Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft

Philadelphia Eagles land Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray in Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft

We’re just hours away from the start of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft and the Eagles are among the topics of the day.

Badly needing wide receiver help, the Eagles have the option to trade up, stay put at No. 21, or trade back. Most mock drafts and discussions have centered around which wide receiver the Eagles will land and where.

Former Eagles personnel guru and NFL Network Insider Daniel Jeremiah has Philadelphia going in an entirely different direction, selecting an All-American linebacker at No. 21.

PICK

21

Kenneth Murray – LB
School: Oklahoma | Year: Junior

I know the Eagles would love to add a speed receiver, but with the top options off the board, Murray is too good to ignore.

Murray definitely is the real deal at linebacker and would give the Eagles a dynamic defender they haven’t had on the roster in years.

Philadelphia was also among the top teams in the NFL at stopping the running without a big-named linebacker, so there could be some arguments about the value of Murray over a necessity at wide receiver.
