Source: Regarding LT Trent Williams: There's "an opportunity to have something done shortly." I'm told there's been "some really good constructive conversations" and there is "hope to get it done soon." My understanding is, it's a positive situation & the process is ongoing.

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, and there is a heck of a lot of smoke coming from the Trent Williams trade front this morning.
According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Williams and a potential trade that would ship him out of Washington, with an expectation that a deal could happen soon. According to her source, there is “an opportunity to have something done shortly,” and there has been “some really good constructive conversations” as of late.
We are unaware who the Redskins have been talking to as potential trade partners, but we can guess that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings are probably in the mix. At this point, it seems likely that Trent is gone before the Draft starts on Thursday.
