Tom Brady getting a big roster boost in Rob Gronkowski

The former Wolverines QB is so good that his former teammate in New England is apparently coming out of retirement.

Michigan fans who want to see former quarterback Tom Brady continue to win championships: your chances to continue to celebrate the former Wolverine may have just gotten another shot in the arm.

We all already know that Brady is the greatest of all time with six Super Bowl victories in nine appearances, but now that he’s matched with Bruce Arians instead of Bill Belichick, will the success continue? Tampa Bay has been an ascending team, but with Jameis Winston being something of a turnover machine, many looked at the Buccaneers as a team being somewhat held back.

While Brady should change that, especially considering how well he takes care of the football, his opportunity to lead a formidable offense just increased on Tuesday, as NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that he just got one of his favorite targets back in Rob Gronkowski.

That’s right: Brady’s so good that a formerly retired teammate is putting the cleats back on just to play with him again.

It’s not a done deal just yet, but given the above, it looks to be quite close.

Gronkowski retired after the 2018 season and since has been a contestant on The Masked Singer, an analyst on FOX Sports and won the WWE title earlier this month after signing a one-year deal in March with the professional wrestling/entertainment juggernaut.
