Tomlin says they were scheduled to start the off-season program today, but they're now "preliminarily" scheduled to start on the 27th.

As of now, no one is exactly sure when teams will begin their offseason workout programs. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and the stay at home orders in most states, NFL teams have been unable to do business as usual. On Monday, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert did their pre-draft press conference via Zoom and talked in part about the offseason workout program.
According to Tomlin, the team should begin the first phase of their offseason program today but as of now, things have been moved tentatively ahead one week to April 27. The state of Pennsylvania has been under a stay at home order since April 1. There is no official end date to the orders but many are hoping a change can come around May 1. How this will impact the Steelers remains to be seen.
