Almost exactly as the show premiered at 9 pm ET, Nike surprised both Jordan-crazy fans and sneakerheads: the company rolled out an early limited release of the Jordan 5 “Fire Red” sneakers on its SNKRS app. The sneakers, which retailed for $200 and were scheduled to release on May 2, sold out almost instantly. The shoes will also be made available at that originally scheduled date.
