No Tennessee Titans make Top-50 NFLPA Players Sales List

Titans players failed to crack the top 50 of merchandise sales last season.

Despite the Tennessee Titans’ success during the 2019 season, not one of their players made the top 50 of the NFLPA Players Sales List for the previous season.

The list “reports sales of all officially licensed NFL player-identified merchandise”, according to the NFLPA’s official website.

Here’s a look at the top 10 players on the list, which includes a new player in No. 1 spot, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, who overtook former New England Patriots and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady.

  1. Patrick Mahomes
  2. Tom Brady
  3. Lamar Jackson
  4. Ezekiel Elliott
  5. Baker Mayfield
  6. Aaron Rodgers
  7. Odell Beckham Jr.
  8. Khalil Mack
  9. Jimmy Garoppolo
  10. George Kittle

Brady had owned the top spot for each of the previous two seasons before Mahomes took his spot at the top last season.

After having struck out in 2019, who are some Titans players that could crack the list in 2020?

Running back Derrick Henry is certainly one of them after having led the NFL in rushing last season. His impact was felt far and wide, as several fantasy football owners made championship runs because of his success.

Wide receiver A.J. Brown is another possibility. The Ole Miss product exploded onto the scene during his rookie campaign with 1,051 yards and nine total touchdowns (eight receiving).

With a full year of Ryan Tannehill under center in 2020, Brown is capable of putting up video game numbers that could make him a fan-favorite throughout the league.

Even with the tremendous upside of both Henry and Brown, Titans players will always have a tough time making this list. Unfortunately, they start from behind by default with the team not having as big of a fan base as some of the other players on this list.
