They need to show the coaches film on this throw! Best throw I think I have ever seen! https://t.co/dYkck61Jj7

Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes couldn’t believe his eyes as he watched a crazy throw from Aaron Rodgers during the 2014 season.
Even over five years later, the play remains hard to believe.
Facing the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in September of 2014, Rodgers maneuvered around a crowded pocket and somehow managed to unleash a perfectly-placed throw to Davante Adams in the end zone – all while getting whacked by a defender at the knees – for a wild, improbable touchdown.
But there was one problem: A holding penalty negated the throw and the score, sending the play into what the NFL labeled “Best Throws That Didn’t Count” bin.
Mahomes finally got to see the incredible throw when the NFL tweeted out the play on Thursday.
“Best throw I think I have ever seen!” Mahomes tweeted from his official Twitter account.
Mahomes asked for the All-22 view of the throw, and the NFL quickly responded with the video.

Rodgers ended up throwing four touchdown passes, leading the Packers to a 38-14 win over the Bears that evened his team’s record at 2-2.
Mahomes has recently joined Rodgers in the master rank of the improbable at the quarterback position. His late-game heroics led the Chiefs to a comeback win over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Often, it takes a master to appreciate another.
