Tennessee has offered 2023 prospect Jace Arnold, a cornerback at Marietta High School who was teammates with UT freshman quarterback Harrison Bailey on its 7A Georgia state championship team in 2019.

Arnold is a young, raw prospect at 5-foot-10, 168-pounds. Tennessee is only the second offer on the table for the freshman without any major recruiting ratings, joining SEC East rival Florida early on in the race.
Defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley is the primary recruiter for Arnold’s recruitment, which could turn into a long process with several Power 5 schools involved.
The Marietta High School pipeline has funneled talented prospects to major programs in recent years, including Bailey’s recruitment to Tennessee. Getting in early on Arnold’s recruitment could certainly benefit Tennessee down the road.
