Medlock is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker could finish the recruiting cycle as one of the top inside linebackers in his class. Currently, 247Sports rates Medlock as a 3-star prospect and the No. 8 inside linebacker in the country.
Tennessee is Medlock’s second SEC offer, following Vanderbilt. Baylor, UConn, Houston, Illinois, Oklahoma and others have also already offered Medlock. Medlock does have family ties to UConn, with a brother playing tight end for the Huskies. His recruitment could, however, turn into a battle of major Power 5 programs.
Tennessee does not yet have any prospects committed to the 2022 recruiting class.
