Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL has had to change up its offseason ways.
The league will enact a virtual draft this offseason, and some people have worried that the regular season won’t have fans.
Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins said that because of Organized Team Activities (OTA’s), the team would be used to playing without all the pomp and circumstance of a normal NFL game.
“So honestly to go out and just play the game would kind of be refreshing, a breath of fresh air, to just let us know that we don’t have to have all the smoke and the fire, we can just play football,” Cousins told ESPN and other outlets. “So as long as we’re playing the game, I won’t have a lot of complaints, and hopefully if it’s still not returned to normal, we can find a way to make it work.”
According to ESPN, Cousins will soon begin virtual OTA’s from Orlando, where he and his family are staying at his parents’ home.
