The AFC South division is wide open when the 2020 season eventually arrives, and the Indianapolis Colts are getting some love as the favorites to finish the campaign on top.

With a new quarterback in Philip Rivers and a promising front seven to lead the way, the Colts are beginning to look more like playoff contenders this offseason. The upcoming draft should allow them to add more young talent to the roster, but the arrow is pointing up.
SportsLine has the Colts listed as the favorites to win the AFC South at +140.

It should be a tight race for the division. The Tennessee Titans were one game away from the Super Bowl in 2019 and will be returning the majority of their pieces from that successful campaign with Ryan Tannehill leading the offense from under center.
The Texans have had a brutal offseason trading away their best offensive piece in DeAndre Hopkins for virtually nothing while the Jaguars are putting their chips in the Gardner Minshew pile while trading away Calais Campbell for a bucket of balls and a JUGS machine.
The Colts have a chance to take the division in 2020. The offense should be better under Rivers, who will be working behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL while the defense should take steps to being a top-10 unit if all goes according to plan.
There is still a long way to go before the season even gets here, but the arrow is pointing up for Indy.
