Wilson was a star in college.
Former Wyoming linebacker Logan Wilson was a star from day one in the Mountain West. He was the freshman of the year and earned All-American honors and he earned first-team all-conference in 2019, second in 2017 and honorable mention in 2018.
He was a stud in the conference and made plays every year and that included 421 total tackles in four years, 35 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, 24 passes defended and 10 interceptions. He is a playmaker, consistent and also does not get injured.

Highlights:
Strengths:
His consistency and being a starter from the first day is a key plus for him being a very good player at the next level. He also rarely seems to miss making tackles and is involved in a whole lot of plays. Being around a lot of plays is why Wilson forces and recover fumbles and had 24 passes defended in his four years.
Defending those passes is an indicator of Wilson being able to drop in coverage and do it well. Those skills should allow him to be on the field more often and being a more valuable player.
Weaknesses:
Lack of competition in the Mountain West is going to be a concern but he has played against some solid teams but not as consistent compared to others in bigger conferences.
Being involved in every play has its downside and with Wilson being overaggressive trying to make plays makes him susceptible to play action and misdirections. He is not great at getting to the quarterback to make sacks, and when he does it is more of an open lane and not him outworking who is in front of him.
Draft Prediction:
Most mock drafts are predicting him to be a third-round pick. Which means he should be on special teams from the start of his rookie year and see a decent amount of playing time as a back up. He has the potential to be a starter if drafted on the right team.
