Everyone is on edge. Fans desperately miss sporting events. For those wishing they were watching the Masters Tournament on Sunday, heartbreak seems to be setting in. It was supposed to be the final round. Instead, the Masters reminded folks they’d be playing a “Masters Rewind” (which was a reminder that golf fans weren’t getting the real thing).
To make things worse, the Masters’ Twitter account kicked off the morning with the phrase, “Good morning and greetings from Augusta National Golf Club.” Surely, that didn’t help folks who wished they were hearing golf broadcasters say just that.
But there’s hope! The Masters has been tentatively rescheduled for November. Keep your chin up, folks.
A Masters Sunday.

Again, fans didn’t deal well with the no-real-golf reminder.

We’re going to get through this together, friends. And the lack of golf — and sports, in general — will help ensure we get through it in safer fashion.
