With the NBA off schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic, teams are asking the league to push back the NBA Draft from its scheduled June 25 date to August 1 at least, ESPN and DraftExpress are reporting. This comes a month after SNYtv reporter Ian Begley tweeted last month that Kentucky coach John Calipari told him the NBA combine and draft would be pushed back in wake of COVID-19. Sources close to the situation have informed The Republic more than half the NBA teams are pushing for a later draft date.
