While the football world awaits the decision of where Jadeveon Clowney will play in 2020, it appears that the Seattle Seahawks aren’t a good bet to re-sign him.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, who appeared on Sports Radio KJR in Seattle on Tuesday, “the chances are slim to none” that Clowney will return to the Seahawks.
The chances of Clowney returning as a Seahawk?
"Idk if he's going to be back in Seattle. The chances are slim to none."

Garafolo did leave the door open a bit for him to return to Seattle though, saying “never say never.”
"Seahawks potentially moving on to plan B, C & D. The Seahawks aren't actively chasing Clowney right now. But who knows, never say never."

This is potentially big news for the Tennessee Titans, a team that has been linked Clowney the entire offseason, and especially after general manager Jon Robinson admitted the team had been in contact with him.
If the Seahawks are out on Clowney, that removes one of the biggest forms of competition the Titans had, assuming they are still in the hunt, which according to the last report we saw, they still are.
There are a few reasons the Clowney situation might be taking so long.
On one hand, it’s impossible for teams to bring players in for physicals because of the coronavirus restrictions. This impacts Clowney in particular because he had core surgery this offseason.
It’s also important to note that Clowney reportedly hasn’t gotten the kind of offers he expected to get, thus he might be waiting it out to see if another team will jump into the fray to offer him more money.
