With the NFL Draft later this month, the Vikings will have to prepare to add a variety of talent who are ready to start in 2020-21.
Below are the 12 draft picks Minnesota has to work with. Each pick has a trade value next to it.
Minnesota has reportedly lost Trae Waynes, Mackensie Alexander, Linval Joseph, Xavier Rhodes, Andrew Sendejo, Jayron Kearse and Laquon Treadwell in free agency.
That means the draft becomes crucial for replacing that talent.
For a more clear look at each pick and trade value for the Vikings, here is a list, with trade value listed afterward:
Round 1, No. 22, 780
Round 1: No. 25, 720
Round 2: No. 58, 320
Round 3: No. 89, 145
Round 3: No. 105, 84
Round 4: No. 132, 40
Round 5: No. 155, 28.2
Round 6: No. 201, 9.8
Round 6: No. 205, 8.2
Round 7: No. 219, 2.6
Round 7: No. 249, 1
Round 7: No. 253, 1
Total Trade Value: 2,139.8
That’s a big list, so it’s possible the Vikings might want to trade some of those draft picks, in order to move up in the draft. It will be interesting to see what the Vikings do with the 12 picks going forward, and how many turn into players who can contribute to the team right away.
