Kevin Durant’s new set of sneakers will be released this month. On Thursday, Nike announced the black and white colorway of the Nike Zoom KD13’s will be released globally on April 6 and in North America on April 17.
In Nike’s release about the KD13’s, the company explained some of the similarities and difference from Durant’s new model and the KD12’s:
That Zoom strobel returns from the KD12, merging two shoe components to bring the foot into closer proximity with the Zoom unit. Where the KD12 used double-stacked Zoom underneath the heel for a plush ride, the double-stacked forefoot Zoom of the KD13 encourages movement off the ball of the foot, whether it’s a hesitation dribble or a pivot into a turnaround jumper
Of course, Nike made sure to show off the new set of kicks with the announcement:
Introducing the KD13.
Built to be ultra-responsive and comfortable, the KD13 features double-stacked Nike Zoom Air units for optimum energy return and remarkable cushioning.
