Would Everson Griffen be a fit with the Browns?

Griffen will be one of many familiar faces for Vikings fans playing elsewhere.

We don’t yet know where defensive end Everson Griffen will play in 2020.

We do know, however, that it won’t be in Minnesota. After 10 seasons and four Pro Bowl appearances with the Vikings, Griffen announced on Instagram that his time in Minnesota is up.

Nick Shook over at NFL.com thinks a fit for Griffen could be the Cleveland Browns.

Of course, former Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski is now the head coach of the Browns.

The Browns have nearly $45 million in cap space, per Over The Cap. Signing Griffen, 32, to a one or two-year deal seems like a good use of money. Griffen proved last season he has plenty left in the tank, finishing with eight sacks and with a Pro Football Focus grade of 76, a mark that ranked 26th out of 107 edge rushers.

Griffen will be one of many familiar faces for Vikings fans playing elsewhere. That list also includes Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander (Bengals), Linval Joseph (Chargers), Andrew Sendejo (Browns), Jayron Kearse (Lions) and Laquon Treadwell (Falcons).
