There wasn’t a lot of tape on Josh Jacobs in college. He was never a workhorse at Alabama, and therefore didn’t get a whole lot of attempts. That didn’t dissuade the Raiders from making him their selection at 24th overall in last year’s draft. And if you look at some of his high school tape, you can see why.
Josh Jacobs was UNFAIR in high school 😳 @iAM_JoshJacobs

Talk about complete dominance. This is just silly. Some watched the footage and remembered just how amazing Jacobs was.
455 yards and six TDs on 22 carries in playoff game against Cascia Hall. It was the greatest performance I’ll ever witness in person

Jacobs noted that his 455-yard, 6-TD game was his first televised game. You can say he got up for the big stage.
He sure got up for the big stage of the NFL. Jacobs ran for 1150 yards and and 7 TD’s in 13 games his rookie season for the Raiders. In what *should* have been a Rookie of the Year performance. Had he not went down with a shoulder injury he was a shoo-in for the Pro Bowl and may have secured that ORoY too.
