The world is undergoing an unprecedented time as the spread of coronavirus has forced everybody to go into self-quarantine in an effort to flatten the curve and eventually beat it. The virus has affected the NBA brotherhood in a big way as quite a few teams have members within the organization test positive for it.
It has also hit the home of Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns as he made an emotional video on Instagram letting everybody know the terrible news surrounding his mother who is in a coma due to the virus. It is a wake-up call to everybody that this virus is very real and it can affect anybody.
Towns has received a ton of love and support from the NBA community and one of those people is Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid who tweeted out his love and support for him.
