Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger recorded a helpful PSA for fans about proper social distancing procedure and things you can do at home during a lockdown, but all anyone really wanted to talk on social media about was Roethlisberger’s incredible transformation into a total mountain man.
Roethlisberger has alternated between a clean-shaven look, stubble and short beards in the past during his playing career, but doesn’t seem to have touched a razor in quite some time.
“Just wanted to take a moment to make a quick video to let everyone know that we’re doing well here, locked down in the house, and let everyone know we’re thinking about them and praying for everyone. If you absolutely have to leave your house – which we encourage not doing – but if you have to, I just hope everyone practices good social distancing. Six, eight feet away from everyone.”
