The NBA is in the middle of a suspension due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and players are finding things to do to pass the time. For the Philadelphia 76ers, that means a variety of different things.
For rookie Matisse Thybulle, he has been diving into the world of TikTok making a variety of videos on the social media app and for Ben Simmons, he’s hitting the world of video games.
On Thursday night, the All-Star guard was online playing what appears to be Call of Duty and he was discussing the top five defenders in the league and a few different names were brought up. Guys like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were brought up and Simmons then threw his name in there.
What about the 2-time Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert? Simmons does not have him there because he does not defend 1 through 5.
Ben Simmons doesn’t think Rudy Gobert is a top 5 defender
“I play ball, I’m looking at guys who can guard 1 through 5.”

Simmons has been having one of the more impressive seasons on the defensive end and he will eventually get his chance again soon enough. The world just needs to get through this crisis currently happening. [lawrence-related id=27832,27813,27808]
