The Falcons already lost 2019 sack leader Vic Beasley, who signed with the Tennessee Titans. Now, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, De’Vondre Campbell, the team’s leading tackler, will be leaving Atlanta for a one-year deal in Arizona.
The #AZCardinals are adding former #Falcons LB De’Vondre Campbell on a 1-year worth up to $8.5M, per @RosenhausSports.

The deal is reportedly worth $8.5 million, but the fact that it’s just for one year is somewhat surprising. Campbell was one general manager Thomas Dimitroff’s best draft picks, working his way up from a fourth-round pick to one of the team’s best defensive players.
At 26 years old, Campbell is just entering his prime and leaves another hole on Atlanta’s roster that it will have to attempt to fill in the 2020 NFL Draft.
