According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with defensive end Dante Fowler.
#Rams free agent pass-rusher Dante Fowler is expected to sign with the #Falcons, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. A high-end pass-rusher lands in Atlanta. Coach Dan Quinn actually coached Fowler while at Florida.

Fowler, 25, was the third-overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. After a rather slow start to his career, he recorded 11.5 sacks with the L.A. Rams last season.
The Falcons let free-agent defensive end Vic Beasley leave for the Tennessee Titans and had a need for an EDGE. Fowler is an improving young pass-rusher that was previously coached by Dan Quinn at Florida.
Stay tuned for more updates as terms of the deal are released.
