The Tennessee Titans just made it clear Ryan Tannehill is their quarterback of the future, signing him to a monster four-year deal worth $118 million.
Of that, $62 million is guaranteed money and there’s as much as $91 million in total guarantees in it for the signal-caller.
He’ll have to prove that he’s worth that over the course of the four-year contract, but there’s little doubt that he’s found his system with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and the Titans in Nashville.
He was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year after recording the best season of his career. He posted the league’s best passer rating (117.5) and completed 70.3 percent of his passes for 2,742 yards, with 22 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Here’s a look at some of Tannehill’s best moments from 2019.

Tannehill has already said he’s ready to “run it back” with the Titans this year.
It’ll be interesting to see how far he’s able to guide the team after an unlikely run to the AFC Championship Game last season.
Of course, the Titans will hope for an outcome unlike the 35-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs that left them one win short of a Super Bowl appearance.
But there’s no discounting what Tannehill is capable of now after watching him take the reins of a stagnant offense and righting the ship after a dismal 2-4 start.
