Tennessee has extended a scholarship offer to 2021 strong-side defensive end Tobechi Okoli, out of Kansas City, Mo.

Okoli is a 6-foot-5, 245-pound edge rusher who rates as a 3-star prospect and No. 35 strong-side defensive end in the country on the 247Sports Composite. Okoli is also listed as the No. 7 overall prospect in Missouri for the 2021 recruiting class.
Prior to Tennessee’s offer, Missouri and Arkansas were the only SEC offers on the table for Okoli. Arizona State, Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska and others have also offered Okoli.
Recently hired defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh is Okoli’s primary recruiter. Tennessee currently has seven prospects committed to the 2021 class, with one defensive end included.
