The first day of the legal tampering period is over and it was quite the busy day across the NFL. While the Raiders weren’t able to secure any of the top free agents, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still quality players available.
Today, we are taking a look at three free agents the Raiders should still target during the second wave of free agency.
1. DE Robert Quinn
While the Raiders appear to have their two bookends at defensive end, you can never have too much of a pass-rush. Robert Quinn, who previously played under Rod Marinelli in Dallas, would be the perfect complement to Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby.
Quinn wins with his incredible speed and ability to win off the edge with bend. While he isn’t an elite run defender, he could be used as a designated pass-rusher in Las Vegas, specifically on passing downs. Quinn is likely going to command $10 million or more this offseason, but he is one of the best sack-artist on the market and would provide even more juice to the Raiders’ defensive line.
