Though the Redskins want QB competition, free agent Case Keenum is not expected back, per source. Not a shocker, but Keenum started eight games last season.

This doesn’t come as a major surprise, but Washington Redskins backup quarterback Case Keenum is not expected to return to the team for the 2020 season and will test the free agency market this spring.
Keenum, who was traded to the Redskins ahead of the 2019 season, started in eight games for Washington, going 1-7 in that time.
With second-year QB Dwayne Haskins set as the presumptive starting quarterback, some thought that it might be smart for Keenum to stick around and try to compete with the young gun for the QB1 spot, but there could be better opportunities for Keenum on a different team. Expect the Redskins to look at the free-agent QB market this year and try to sign a mid-level player that’s capable of pushing Haskins to be better.
