The expectation around the NBA is that the rest of the G League season will be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The regular season in the G League was set to run through March 28 with the playoffs beginning shortly after. With teams now expecting the earliest the league could resume play is in June, the G League season was likely going to be canceled.
G League players will be paid through the end of the season.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced the hiatus will last at least 30 days as players are required to stay in their respective markets during the time off. They are also not permitted to participate in group workouts or practices and can only workout individually.
