The Tennessee Titans enter the 2020 NFL Draft with less holes to fill than we’re used to seeing during April.
They’ll use the free agency period and the 2020 NFL Draft to make the small tweaks needed, and could select a cornerback with the No. 29 overall pick in the first round.
At least that’s what NFL Network analyst Bucky Brooks sees the team doing in his latest mock. Brooks has the Titans adding former Alabama corner Trevon Diggs with their first selection.

“The potential loss of Logan Ryan in free agency could prompt the Titans to add a long, rangy corner with ball skills to the lineup,” he wrote. “Diggs is still mastering the nuances of the position, but it’s hard to find big corners with his skill set.”
Brooks has a good point here, considering just how much more valuable Ryan made himself in 2019 and how much of a void he’ll leave if he departs from the team.
Diggs finished out his senior season with the Crimson Tide with 37 tackles, two fumble recoveries, eight passes defensed, three interceptions and one touchdown.
On his college career, Diggs totaled 68 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 17 passes defensed, four interceptions and one touchdown.
