Redskins delay conference due to coronavirus

The Redskins delayed an event due to coronavirus.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has now impacted the Washington Redskins, albeit in a slight manner.

Wednesday night, the Redskins announced they would reschedule a press conference originally planned for Thursday, according to JP Finlay of NBC Sports.

That announcement came alongside the NBA completely suspending its season after one of its players tested positive for the virus.

As one can probably guess, the Redskins won’t be the only team impacted here. Teams have started pulling coaches out of pro days in response to the outbreak.

Now the conversation shifts to whether the 2020 draft in Las Vegas will face alterations.

On a more Redskins note, at least for now, pressers with Ron Rivera and others on the path to the draft are subject to change, too.
