The NCAA announced Wednesday that the NCAA Tournament will be played without almost any fans in attendance, aside from select family members and essential personnel.
Like most of the sports viewing world I’m sure, my immediate question was “then what about the ACC (of Big Ten, Big East, PAC 12…) Tournament? Is that going on as planned?”
As of now, at least for the ACC’s Wednesday night games, the plan is proceeding as originally planned.
Tonight's #ACCTourney games at 7 and 9 p.m. will proceed as planned.
We are aware of the announcement by the @NCAA and will evaluate the remainder of the tournament. More information will be forthcoming.

What does that mean for the quarterfinals and beyond? Only time will tell but with the news of the NCAA Tournament earlier today I wouldn’t be surprised if fans aren’t allowed at the ACC, Big Ten or any other conference tournament starting Thursday.
Notre Dame plays Boston College tonight and Syracuse takes on North Carolina.
