Tua Tagovailoa was at one point among four prospects the Cincinnati Bengals would reportedly consider at No. 1 in the 2020 NFL draft.
We can’t know how the process has unfolded behind closed doors in Cincinnati. But we can check in on the former Alabama passer thanks to an update from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, who revealed Tagovailoa passed his fourth-month check.
It’s on to getting into football shape for Tagovailoa, provided there aren’t any setbacks in training. He’ll likely be part of the combine re-check process soon and will, of course, draw a massive crowd at Alabama’s pro day.

Like any injury, those involved with Tua Tagovailoa’s rehab will closely monitor the script and his progression so as not to overload the hip. The draft prospect remains on track… https://t.co/QpIF1jjIUg
