Phoenix Suns rookie Cameron Johnson will miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with mononucleosis, according to Bob Young of The Athletic.
Johnson has missed the past two games for the Suns due to what the team called an illness. Johnson is scheduled to be re-evaluated in two weeks and will miss at least a handful of games.
As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) outlined, symptoms of mono include extreme fatigue, fever, sore throat and head and body aches with fatigue the most common ailment.
Johnson has previously missed 15 games this season due to a variety of injuries, including a right quad contusion, left calf soreness and left hip soreness among others.

Suns players have missed a total of 131 games due to injury and illness, which doesn’t include the 25-game suspension to Deandre Ayton earlier this season.
The illness to Johnson comes just after he recorded a career-high 21 points on March 3. In 49 games played, Johnson is averaging 8.1 points and 2.9 rebounds on 39.7% shooting from 3-point range.
