[autotag]Brian Ortega[/autotag]’s altercation with Chan Sung Jung’s friend, rappy Jay Park, was caught on video.
Footage was obtained by TMZ was released Monday, which showed Ortega, a contender in the UFC’s featherweight division, being separated from Park on the floor section of T-Mobile Arena on Saturday at UFC 248 in Las Vegas.
Initially, word spread that Ortega had gotten into a fight with “The Korean Zombie,” but details were unclear. UFC president Dana White did confirm at the post-fight news conference that security had escorted Ortega out of the arena following an incident.
According to an eyewitness who reached out to MMA Junkie, Ortega approached Park during Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s walkout and confronted him over trash talk last month. The incident happened while Jung was in the bathroom.

Park alleges that Ortega slapped him. Although that isn’t seen on video, you can hear Ortega saying he did.
“I told you I’d slap you like a b*tch,” Ortega says.
The beef between Ortega and Park stemmed from an episode of “Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show” in which Jung accused Ortega of ducking him; Park was his translator in that interview.
The two fighters were scheduled to fight in December at UFC on ESPN+ 23, but Ortega was force to withdraw due to injury. White expressed interest in booking the fight in the aftermath of Saturday’s incident.
