Colts make joint $100K donation to Nashville tornado relief

AFC South comes together after a devastating tornado.

The Indianapolis Colts may be competing with the Tennessee Titans on the football field, but sometimes life goes beyond the gridiron.

The Colts, along with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, are donating $100,000 to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to help the relief following the devastating tornado that touched down in Nashville last week.

Colts owner Jim Irsay also released a statement on Monday in regards to aiding the relief efforts following the tornado.

“While we compete hard on Sundays throughout the fall, the NFL is first & foremost a family & one of our family members is hurting right now. We are happy to join w/ our AFC South partners to lend a helping hand to the people of Tenn. who have lost so much.”
