Saints QB Drew Brees doesn’t see Tom Brady ‘going anywhere’

Drew Brees doesn’t think Tom Brady is leaving the Patriots.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the hottest name set to test free agency this year, and he’ll likely have several suitors.

The Tennessee Titans are one team that could be in the market for Brady, especially given how up in the air things still are with Ryan Tannehill and the existing connection with head coach Mike Vrabel.

But will Brady really play for a team not coached by Bill Belichick in 2020?

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who some speculated would retire after last season, seems to think that won’t be the case.

“He’s a legend and I don’t seem him going anywhere,” Brees said in a quote from The Greg Hill Show on WEEI.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out with Brady and free agency — especially given that the Titans could plausibly be a contender to land the veteran.

Brady would enter a solid situation with a winning coaching staff, an offensive line that has steadily been on the up, a rising receiving corps with dangerous weapons and the league’s best running back in Derrick Henry.

The Titans started clicking on all cylinders last season — something clearly illustrated by the fact the team made it to the AFC Championship Game — but the the chances for the team to make another Super Bowl run going into the following year soar with a signal-caller like Brady.
