It was the best weekend LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers could have possibly asked for.
On Friday, the vet’s play against the Milwaukee Bucks — including some incredible defense against Giannis Antetokounmpo — led to an important win over the NBA’s best team. On Sunday, against a healthy Los Angeles Clippers squad that poses as the biggest threat to the Lakers, he had 28 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in a victory.
It was during Sunday’s game that Kyle Kuzma mimed putting a crown on King James’ head, and it kind of seemed like James knew what he was doing while receiving it:
