Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson continued showcasing their incredible chemistry and talent together on Sunday afternoon. As they have done multiple times this season already, the two connected for a pair of long-distance alley-oops in the first half against the Timberwolves.
Williamson has seamlessly adapted to Ball’s ability to throw pinpoint outlet and hit-ahead passes. The two first connected for a 60-foot alley-oop during the first quarter with Williamson catching the lob for a dunk in one motion.

The two didn’t stop there, though, as Ball again found Williamson a handful of possessions later on a nearly identical play with an nearly identical pass with a nearly identical result.

Ball and Williamson have flourished together since the moment the latter made his debut. In 411 minutes together this season, the pair has a net rating of +13.6. Of all pairings with at least 400 minutes played together since Williamson’s debut, Ball and Williamson have the fifth-best net rating.
Interestingly, three of the top five are Pelican pairings with Jrue Holiday and Derrick Favors having the top rating at +17.2. Ball and Favors have a net rating of +13.9 in that span as well.
No matter how you dice it, though, Ball and Williamson have burst onto the scene together and are quickly becoming one of the must-watch duos of the league.
