It had been a long time since the Philadelphia 76ers last won a road game, but on Thursday, they were finally able to breakthrough. They rode some hot shooting to knock off the Sacramento Kings 125-108 and their nasty nine-game road losing skid.
Tobias Harris had a huge night scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and Al Horford had 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists while being a plus-41 on the night. After it was all over, Harris had a reminder for everyone out there.
In his postgame interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Serena Winters, Harris reminded everybody of the last road win the team had:
You know the last time we won on the road? January 20, in Brooklyn! Tonight, we came out with a physicality, we came out with a great spirit, shoutout to everybody on our team. I thought Mike Scott did a great job of setting the tone for us. From the beginning of the game, that will to win, and everybody just followed up right off that.
At long last, a Sixers win on the road.
