The Brooklyn Nets may be without one of their starters in Tuesday’s game in Boston against the Celtics. The team has deemed Garrett Temple questionable to play against Kyrie Irving’s old team due to a right shoulder sprain.
While Temple could still yet play, Irving (right shoulder impingement) and Kevin Durant (right Achilles rehab) are both out. Dzanan Musa and two-way player Jeremiah Martin will also be unavailable on Tuesday — both are with Brooklyn’s G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets.
If he does get ruled out, Tuesday’s game in Boston would only be the sixth contest Temple has missed all season and the first since January 18, which marked the end of a three-game stretch where he was sidelined.
In his 54 games played for the Nets throughout the 2019-20 season, the wing has made 31 starts and is averaging 28.2 minutes per game. Temple is scoring 10.4 points per game and averaging 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, as well.
